After a cold weekend, it's turning out to be a beautiful Monday here on the tallgrass prairie of southwest Missouri...sunny and in the mid-50's. The rest of the week promises to be even nicer...60's and 70's every day with most days being sunny. I'm so looking forward to spring and it cannot get here soon enough to suit me! 🌷
I hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day! I did here, but only because I chose to. When I felt the depression of celebrating another anniversary without my husband come lurking around, I shook it off and purposefully decided to enjoy the day anyway.
I delivered Valentine goodies to the grands, bought myself flowers, was invited to supper at Patrick and Amber's (went, and enjoyed it!), and received sweet Valentines from some of the grands and one of the ladies in our Bible study group. It was a lovely day and I made it through without tears. Praise the Lord!
This week's master to-do list...
- Clean house
- Do laundry
- Present a program on animal tracks at the local library
- Send out a reminder concerning the current giveaway on this blog (only one week left before a winner is selected!)
- Work
This week's menu plan...
Monday - Cheeseburger and oven fries
Tuesday - Oven-roasted chicken breast with baked potato and fried cabbage
Wednesday - Soup and salad
Thursday - Fish sandwich, oven fries, and coleslaw
Friday - Homemade pizza
Saturday - Ham, eggs, and toast
Sunday - Leftovers
That's all for today! Have a nice day and a great week ahead!
Until next time...

DeleteWe did not do anything for Valentine's day this year. I did miss getting flowers, but my husband had to work all day followed by a long dentist appt. Sounds like you had a very nice celebration. The bookmark is cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in, Kristina! It's always good to hear from you! Blessings!
DeleteOh Rebecca - love this so much! The Lord gives us such strength when we reach for Him in those moments, doesn't He? And your attitude is everything too! That's awesome you enjoyed the day and spent it with loved ones and thinking of your sweet grandkids. That bookmark is so pretty. Is it a diamond art one? Blessings on your week ahead. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHey, Carrie! Yes, He does! And, yes, the bookmark is diamond art. One of my granddaughter's friends from Fort Rock made it for me. It was so sweet of her to think of me! Blessings, my friend! Spring is on the way!
