It's Monday. My internet
has worked off and on intermittently all weekend and is still at it. I
was on the phone with Windstream from the time I got home around 5:00
Friday until 8:30. A trouble report was submitted and they are
supposed to be doing some sort of upgrade a week from today.
This morning the internet
is more off than on and my phone line is extremely staticky. I just
got of the phone with Windstream again and, yet another, trouble
report has been submitted. We'll see where it leads. In the meantime,
I am typing this post in Open Office and plan on transferring it over
to my blog and HOPEFULLY get it posted between outages. We'll see
what happens with that, too!
I trust that you and yours had a good weekend. I had a good one here. I worked Friday and Saturday. Had several show up for nature bingo on Saturday and just had a great day overall. After church and lunch on Sunday I went for a drive. Will share more about that later in the week. At least, I hope to.
Since I'm having so much trouble with my computer and internet, I'm going to cut this post short and just try to get on with it. Let's get started, shall we?

I'm working on a plan to fine tune my diet, but, for now, I'm focusing on what I've got in the house and how to use it up. After raising a big family (six children), and even compared to when it was just John and I, I'm amazed at long food lasts around here now with just me. Measuring things out and sticking with single-serve quantites helps a lot, too, I'm sure.
Monday – Leftover pasta with meatsauce, garlic bread, and peas
Tuesday – Turkey burger, sweet potato fries, and coleslaw
Wednesday – Bison and noodles
Thursday – Baked chicken breast, baby baker potatoes, and oven-roasted carrot
Friday – Broiled salmon, baked sweet potato, fried onions, and cabbage
Saturday – Breakfast sausage patty with fried potatoes, peppers, and onions
Sunday – Leftovers
That's it for now. Have a nice day and a great week ahead and I'll be with you again soon!
Until next time...
