Good evening, Dear One!
It's getting late, but I had a few minutes, so thought I'd sit down, have a cup of tea, and spend them with you.
Yesterday was grandson, Silas's, 14th birthday. (I can't believe how fast these grandchildren are growing!!!) I was invited to Patrick and Amber's for supper last night in celebration. Silas had a good birthday and Amber made the most delicious cake. She said it was a homemade version of a 'Ding Dong' cake. It was super rich and super yummy!
I went to Lamar this morning. I ended up getting not one, but two, bad tires replaced and did my grocery shopping. Today it was mostly for fresh stuff...especially salad making stuff.
I'm on Day 4 of the 21-Day Salad Challenge and am greatly enjoying it...especially since my aunt is joining me in it. I've enjoyed talking with her nightly about each day's progress and other things.
Here's a picture of today's salad...mixed greens with ff turkey slices (rolled up and cut in thin slices), mushrooms, grape tomatoes, bacon bits, croutons, and Ranch dressing ...
This evening I'm doing laundry and have been listening to the Believer's Voice of Victory broadcast while visiting with you, and I've enjoyed it.
I hope that you've had a good day. I'm going to get off of here now and try to get 30 minutes of exercise in before bedtime.
Until next time...
~Rebecca
