Good morning, Dear One! 💗
It's Monday! In fact, it's the first Monday of March and spring is just days away! Yay!!! 🌷
I hope that you and yours had a good week and weekend and that your morning is off to a great start! Everything is well here. I'm back to work and, slowly, but surely, things are returning to normal. Praise the Lord!
Since having COVID I've lost my sense of smell. I can smell hints of some things if they are really strong, but, for the most part, I can't smell and it really bothers me. I find myself taking extra precautions just in case...taking extra showers and using cologne if I'm going to be around people, taking the trash out daily whether it's full or not, using baking soda and other natural fresheners when cleaning. One of the things that I did last week was to try my hand at making a homemade, all-natural fabric refresher. I'm not sure if it works, because I can't smell it or the fabric that I'm using it on, but it makes me feel better to use it! 😆 Here's the recipe...
ALL-NATURAL FABRIC REFRESHER
8 ounces of warm, distilled water
2 tablespoons baking soda
20 drops of essential oil or oils of your choice (I used lavender)
Mix all ingredients together in a glass spray bottle and use as needed to freshen fabrics and upholstery around your house.
Okay...it's almost time to leave for work. Let's get right on into this week's post, shall we?
- work
- clean house 🏡
- do laundry 👕
- figure March budget
- pay bills 💵
- run errands 🏃
- celebrate next-to-youngest son's birthday 🎂
- wash car 🚗
- have tires rotated and balanced
This week's menu plan...
Monday - Turkey burgers and baked potatoes 🦃
Tuesday - Chicken ranch salad with French bread 🐔
Wednesday - Ham, potatoes, and green beans 🐖
Thursday - Broccoli cheese and rice casserole with oven-roasted carrots 🧀
Friday - Broiled salmon, baked sweet potatoes, and brussel sprouts 🐟
Saturday - Dh's night to cook (chef's choice) 🍝
Sunday - Leftovers
Well, that's it for this week! You all have a great week ahead and I'll be with you again soon!
Until next time...
~Rebecca
