I normally don't do two posts in one day, but, this morning, I felt led to do so. Our entire country (practically the whole continent) is in the deep-freeze and I am learning about more and more friends that are suffering hardships due to super cold temperatures and inclement weather. I am thinking about and praying over each and every one of them, as well as, you...my dear readers.
What state are you in? What is your current temperature? And how are you and your family faring in the face of all this? Is there anything specific that you need prayer over this morning? If so, please, feel free to post your request in the comment section below or email it to me at johnandrebeccaknox@protonmail.com. You can be assured that my husband and I will be joining you in prayer over whatever need you have.
This is where we were weather-wise when I woke up this morning...
Stay warm everyone! Let's stay in touch and let us lift one another up and support one another in thought, prayer, and deed during this trying time in our nation.
Until next time...
~Rebecca

Hey, Deanna! You're welcome! Not sure where you're at in Kansas (we're in southwest Missouri less than five miles east of the Kansas/Missouri line), but, here the sun is shining and it's BEAUTIFUL! We're up to whole 11 degrees!!! Am enjoying it while we can! We've got around 7 inches of snow on the ground with more on the way tonight! How much snow do you have?
DeleteI’m in Mississippi and when we woke up it was 7. Needless to say, we are not used to this! Thankfully our power and pipes are holding up, but round two will be here in the morning.
ReplyDeleteAm still thinking about and praying over all the folks on this list. The ice and snow has stopped here and above freezing temperatures are upon us. Some here have lost water due to broken pipes but no power outages in our immediate vicinity. How are things going in your area at this point, Mandy? Continued thoughts and prayers are headed your way! Blessings! <3
DeleteIt's extremely cold here in TN. We have another front of ice and snow and ice coming today. Our back roads are a solid sheet of ice. We are battin down the hatches. Im so thankful for resources like gas and oil right now. I feel sorry for the people in TX where the wind turbines have all frozen. Thousands of people without power in this freeze.
ReplyDeleteOh, I know, Tracy! This thing in Texas has been disastrous all the way around. I feel so bad for them. And, yes! Praise God for resources like gas and oil. Solar and wind are great resources, too, but it's always wise to have a backup. How are things in your area? Are temperatures warming up and is everything still holding utility-wise? Continued prayers are headed your way! Blessings!
DeleteYou know I'm just a little north of you so our weather isn't that different. Thankfully, we've had power though did take our turn with the planned 20-30 minute shutoffs yesterday. Doing the best we can to conserve here and there. Woke up to more snow this morning but we're supposed to hit 20 degrees later so it'll be back to normal winter tomorrow, I think. Hope you are staying safe and warm!
ReplyDeleteHey, Jean! It's good to hear from you! The sun is shining and it's supposed to hit 41 degrees today! Woo-hoo! Some here are out of water after their pipes burst (including Prairie), but we never did lose power. Warmer temperatures should have this stuff melted off soon and, by the end of next week, we'll be swimming in mud! LOL! For once, believe it or not, I'm actually looking forward to summer! (Then, of course, it will be too hot...but, hey! What can I say?) Blessings, Friend! Have a safe, warm, and happy Saturday! <3
