- Friday - Broiled salmon, oven-roasted pumpkin, and mashed turnips 🐟
- Saturday - Dh's night to cook (chef's choice or leftovers) 🍝
- Sunday - Leftovers

That photo of your flowers is beautiful! The purple ones almost look hand drawn. And how funny, I put turnips on our menu for this week. Not sure they'll be a hit (with any of us) but trying new things. Wonderful to be getting things from your garden in January. Hope you have a fantastic week!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jean! I thought that, too...that the purple ones looked hand drawn. How did the turnips go over? I, personally, don't like the store-bought ones. To me they have a bitter whanginess, but these that John planted were an heirloom variety from Baker Creek in Mansfield and they are mild in flavor with no bitterness at all...even the HUGE ones! They're super yummy and we're really enjoying them. Blessings, my friend! Sorry I'm so late with responding! :/
