CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS
Soft, crunchy, sweet, and salty all in one delicious bite!
3/4 pound pretzel twists
24 oz. chocolate or vanilla almond bark
red, white, and green candy sprinkles
1 tablespoon shortening
In double-boiler (or microwave) melt shortening and almond bark and stir together until smooth and velvety. Working with a few at a time, dip pretzel twists in melted chocolate. Remove one at time with a fork, tapping the fork against the side of the pan to remove excess chocolate. Slide chocolate covered twist off of fork onto parchment or waxed paper, then top with candy sprinkles. Let set until dry. Serve or store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
