Good morning, Everyone!
It's the last Monday of October and, suddenly, the holiday season is upon us! Can you believe it???? Where in the world has 2020 gone???? ๐ฒ
Not that I won't be glad when it's over, mind you. We praise God for His mercy, grace, and many blessings, but in some ways 2020 will certainly be remembered as the worst year ever. Despite how things look right now, though, I pray that 2021 brings healing to our nation and that, before we know it, COVID-19 will be a thing of the past.
This week's master to-do list...
Sadly, I have been unable to make contact with the winner of the 2021planner that was selected on Friday.

Good morning, Everyone!
I trust that your week and weekend were good and that your Monday is off to a great start!
Our weekend here was GREAT! We enjoyed a fun weekend getaway to a nearby lake.
We, along with our daughter, son-in-law, and their children, rented a lovely cabin on Stockton Lake and were joined by our son-in-law's parents, who happen to be dear friends that we have known for over thirty years.
The weather was perfect and we jammed a lot of fun into just a few short days!
Since it's Monday, and I'm headed for work soon, I will share a few more photos, then, move right on into today's post.
Have a blessed day and a great week ahead! I'll be with you again soon! ๐งก
The winner of the Homemaker's Friend 2021 Daily Planner is...
MICHELLE of Leading A Quiet Life
On Wednesday of last week, my friend, Carla, and I took a day trip north to do a little shopping and sightseeing. While out and about, I introduced Carla to one of my favorite places to shop...Stoplight Market in Butler, Missouri.
They carry a large variety of bulk food items, including spices, flour, oatmeal, gluten-free products, local honey, popcorn, cheese, candy, jams, jellies, and more, and, in spring, summer, and on into fall, they offer locally grown produce.
Some of my personal favorite products at Stoplight, and ones that I shop for regularly, include spices (basil, oregano, fennel, chives, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, black pepper, and Real and pink Himalayan salt), bulk foods (rolled oats, oat bran, popcorn, cornmeal, and cocoa), and other items that are hard to find such as Mrs. Miller's 100% Whole-Wheat Noodles and Bragg's Liquid Aminos.
I also enjoy procuring fresh produce that's in season there when I can.
If you enjoy shopping bulk food stores, and ever make it to the Butler, Missouri area, Stoplight Market is well worth the stop. For more information, click HERE.
Until next time...

Good morning, Everyone!
I trust that your week and weekend were good and that your Monday is off to a great start! Happy Columbus Day!
Things are going well here. I just haven't had a whole lot of extra time to post lately and I miss being with you all. ๐ข
I worked on Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday was bison vet check day at the park.
On Wednesday my friend, Carla, and I went north to shop the Amish and Mennonite stores. While there we explored the area and enjoyed a day of fun. In Butler we visited the thrift store, the herb shop, and Stoplight Market. We hiked a short trail at Battle of Island Mound and visited the city lake.
We had lunch at Swope's in Rich Hill before heading out to the Amish store. Swope's food is so good! To see a video food review that one family made click HERE!
Wednesday evening our youngest daughter and her boyfriend joined us at our youngest son's for a bonfire and cookout. We enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, roasted marshmallows, and apple cider. ๐
Thursday was spent enjoying time with Amanda and Aaron. John and I took them out to the park and gave them a corral tour. Then, we met at Patrick and Amber's where Amanda set up shop and did all us girls' nails using the new dip powder kit she got and, I have to say, she did a great job! ๐
Friday was spent just trying to catch up with myself and stuff around here, I worked Saturday, relaxed as much as possible on Sunday, and, now, here it is Monday morning and it's off to work I go again!
Have a blessed day and a great week ahead! I'll be with you again soon! ๐งก

Good morning, Everyone!
It's the first Monday of October and I had a chipper greeting all prepared, but, since I'm not feeling so chipper this morning, I didn't post it.
I don't have a lot of time in which to share this morning, but we have been bombarded with prayer requests throughout the weekend. One friend spent the weekend at her dying sister's bedside; another lost her husband. Others that we know are sick or hospitalized; several that we know of are dealing with COVID and that, of course, includes President and Mrs. Trump
There is a whole world of hurting people out there, Ladies. Be kind, forgive, help when and where you can, and lift one another up in prayer. Time is short and everyone can do something to encourage another. What can you do today? And for whom?
It's Monday and I'm headed to work. I will be with you again when I can. Have a blessed day! ๐งก
