Gearing Up For Gardening

Good Afternoon, Ladies! 💗

How is everyone on this beautiful, sunshiny, Thursday afternoon? Is it sunny where you are? 🌞

Yesterday John and I ran out to the Amish greenhouse to see what they had in the way of plants.

They are gearing up for Mother's Day so they had a LOT of flowers, hanging baskets, and bedding plants.

I had originally planned on getting a flat full of flowers (at least some marigolds to plant along the front edge of the porch) but they only had a couple of kinds of marigolds to choose from. It's early yet, so I decided to wait until I can find a little more variety.

We did get some vegetable plants though...Roma tomatoes, green peppers, banana peppers, jalapenos, and zucchini.

I got a few herbs to add to my herb wheel, as well...sage, rosemary, and thyme.

I also got a free petunia just for making a $25.00 purchase, so I ended up with flowers after all! Yeah!!! 💗

I can't wait to get out and visit a couple more of my favorite greenhouses. We will have to make a day of it soon!

How about you? Do you garden? Enjoy flowers? Plant vegetables? If so, what's happening in your world as you gear up for gardening?

Until next time...

  1. as soon as boomers die off in mass, we millennials will vote for socialism. Within the next 5 to 10 years, as more and more of you boomers die off, we are going to turn America into a socialist country, and we are going to STOP giving 80 billion a year to Israel. Everything you boomers worked to create, we will destroy.

    1. Again...I don't know who you are, but God does and He loves you. I pray laborers into your path that can reach you for Him before it's too late.

Also, (and again), I forgive you. I forgive you for coming into my blog to vent your hatred of people you know nothing about and tout the lies and agendas that you've been duped into believing and that you have chosen to embrace.

Take heed, my young friend...Proverbs 26:27 says, "Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him."

Time is short and your comments serve as a call to prayer for the young people in our nation, so thank you, but don't count on having the five to ten years to carry out your agenda. Death not only will come to the baby boomers, but to all generations and tomorrow is not promised to any. I pray peace, safety, and protection over you and that every path you take leads to the foot of the cross before it's too late.

      Peace and blessings!

  2. I was laughing when I saw your post yesterday (on my phone, where I struggle with comments) because I'd been outside working on my garden areas and thinking about getting flowers all day. Glad you ended up with some flowers after all!
