    Oh those sugar cookies...yum!!! I have never heard of a cherry mash.. but they look yummy! Have a great Tuesday!!!

      Cherry Mash is made here in Missouri, Jodi, at St. Joseph's Chase Candy Company, but they're hard to find...even in here in southwest Missouri. Send me your address and I'll send you one! :)

    A favorite chocolate cake recipe calls for sauerkraut.

    At first I thought, "Oh, German." Uh uh. German is the chocolatier who came up with the cocoa process for the dark baking chocolate. Nothing to do with Germany. (At one point my city had four German language daily newspapers so huge German influence.)

    Very delicious. You'll have to take my word for it. A moist chocolate cake. I suppose it is one of those salty enhancing the sweet things.

      I make kimchi (in small batches in the refrigerator) so we are on the same page. And homemade sauerkraut is the best when grilling brats at a football tailgate party.

      The best I can do at the moment is this found-on-the-internet recipe which is very much like my grandmother's. Some recipes I came across today call for a bundt pan. We used regular circular cake pans. And a chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream frosting.
