Happy Homemaker Monday - April 8, 2019

Greetings, Dear Friends! 💗

How is everyone? I trust that you and yours had a great week and weekend! I sure did! Taking the weekend off from work and not going out of town has been fantabulous! And, while I didn't accomplished as much as I had hoped to while I was off, two full days of spring cleaning has made a world of difference and I feel so much better! 😄

I've got a lot to do this morning, so I'm going to cut this introduction a bit short and get right on into the meat of this morning's post. Won't you join me as, I link up with Sandra of Diary of a Stay At Home Mom and all the other lovely ladies that make up the Happy Homemaker Monday crew? You'll be glad you did! 💗

Today I am joining Sandra and the other ladies over at
Diary of a Stay At Home Mom for Happy Homemaker Monday.
Please be sure to go over and check it out! 💗
Right now I am...

... finishing up breakfast and enjoying a cup of hot tea while I work on this post and plan my day.

Am thinking...

... about and praying over the many prayer requests that have come in over the weekend. So many people out there are hurting...spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally. May we lift up those that we are made aware of in our prayers and do what we can to ease their burden as the Lord leads. 🙏

On the breakfast plate...

...  peanut butter and jelly toast (Polaner All Fruit...peach!) and hot tea

The weather...

... Absolutely perfect! 53 degrees and sunny, at the moment, with a high of 75 (and a zero-percent chance of rain) expected. The next couple of days we're supposed to get up to around 80, then cooler with the highs in the 50's 60's, and 70's, 🌷🌞🌱

On my reading pile...

The Great Buffalo Hunt by Wayne Gard, and I'm about three-quarters of the way through Prairie Fires: The American Dreams of Laura Ingalls Wilder by Caroline Fraser

Online this week...

Since we canceled our trip to Branson to this year, we watched what we could of the 2019 Victory Campaign on BVOVN and, of course, reruns of The Rifleman.

  7. Yes, I so understand about prayer requests. There are so many people other there hurting and in need. I feel bad that I cannot pray deeply for them (because of little children!) but I pray God hears my heart for them. Oh, and your Afghan - beautiful!!!

  8. Thanks for dropping in, Sarah, and, yes, like you, it pains me that I cannot spend the time that I'd like in deeper prayer for those that I am made aware of. That is something I want to work on...a deeper prayer life. Thanks for the kind words about the afghan. It's coming along quite nicely. Blessings for a beautiful rest of the week! <3
