A stack of pumpkins at the Louisburg Cider Mill. |
Good Evening, Dear Ladies!
It's Monday and I'm running behind. I had hoped to get to this post early this morning, but it just didn't happen.
Either way, I'm just glad to be here with Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom and all the sweet ladies of Happy Homemaking Monday!
This past week has been a blur of activity. On Tuesday we attended the grand re-opening of a friend's ice cream shop, on Wednesday we closed on the old house, I worked Thursday and Friday, Saturday we visited Missouri Town 1855's annual craft and music festival, and yesterday we visited the Louisburg Cider Mill. Today I took a friend to town to do her shopping, the afternoon and evening was spent cleaning house, doing laundry, visiting with family, and attending a baptism.
The weather...
At the moment we are experiencing thunderstorms, heavy rains, and lightening. Rain chances continue overnight and tomorrow is supposed to be cool and cloudy with a high of 60 and a low of 48.
Having a cup of tea, working on this post, and listening to the rain on the porch roof as I'm waiting on the last load of laundry to finish drying.
On my reading pile...
Nothing at the moment. I am between text books as I am working on a review and getting ready to take the test over A Fresh Anointing.
On the menu this week....
(Please note that specifically named meals are Trim Healthy Mama friendly, but since I'm not taking time to list them, if you want the page numbers of the recipes, please, feel free to leave a comment, shoot me an e-mail, or message me. I'd be happy to share them with you.)

Scripture Passage...
"While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest,
and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease" (Genesis 8:22).
Well, Ladies, that's if for this week! I pray that each and every one of you have a blessed week ahead!
Until next time...~Rebecca

Wonderful picture of sailboat cove! You sure are busy over there. Did the cold front move through down that way as well? We're actually testing our heat out this morning ;) Hope you are in the middle of a fantastic week.
ReplyDeleteI have certainly been enjoying my visits back home, Jean...that's for sure! Yes, the cold front came through Liberal yesterday. We had a high of around 60, then temperatures fell all day. Our low last night was around 40. I think it's supposed to be in the upper 40's overnight tonight. Am enjoying the cooler weather though! And, yes, thus far it's been a good week. Tomorrow I go home again...this time to Burr Oak. I can't wait! <3
