"And the Lord said (to Peter), Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat..." (Luke 22:31).''
Is Satan trying to "sift" you? Is he trying to get you to give up? To leave? To get off by yourself and away from your family and friends? Is he trying to get you away from the people that love and care about you? Is he trying to keep you disconnected you so that he can destroy you, and cause you to fail?
Don't let him! Stay put in the plan that God has for your life!
Don't quit! Don't give up!
Don't give up on your marriage!
Don't give up on your children!
Don't give up on any family member or friend that Satan is trying to "sift"!
Stand firm! And don't give up!
When a family member or friend is in trouble, don't kick them out! Bring them in! Encourage them! Love them!
God wrote your story before you were born. If you've messed up it's not too late. Ask God for forgiveness and allow Him to get you back on the right path. Then, walk out that good plan that He has for your life!
Remember...Jesus has already paid it all!

You know, sometimes sifting is not a bad thing. Impurities (bad attitudes, habits, etc.) can be brought to light and prayer and effort can be made to remove them.
ReplyDeleteWhat Satan means for evil, God always uses for our better than good.
"Father God, no matter what my friend Rebecca is facing today, I ask that you give her strength and hope and love to not only make it through but to do so with grace, mercy, and peace that only You can give. Bless her with health for herself and her family,
in Jesus' Name, Amen."
Rebecca, consider yourself hugged!
~smile~
