Craft Project - St. Brigid Cross
I found the pattern for this pretty craft project in a current copy of Disney's FAMILY FUN magazine on a recent trip to the doctor's office with my daughter and grandchildren. I preferred to make my cross out of plain raffia, but found the pattern on-line. For instructions, click here...

What a great idea to use raffia! I made some St. Brigid crosses from wheat stocks this year, and have also used a variety of other plant materials--plus pipe cleaners when I make them with young children. I have a post about it on my website/blog if you want to check it out :)

I would like to urge others to check out Jane's site above where she shares other ideas for making St. Brigid crosses. Very interesting and lovely! Thanks, Jane! :)
